The Japanese firm is preparing to launch the next edition of its compact SUV. It has already been seen abroad carrying out tests, and taking its design as a reference, the first recreations appeared.
Honda started with the testing of the new generation of the HR-V, the compact SUV that is produced in Brazil and that until recently was one of the national production models in Argentina.
During the first appearances of the next edition, one of the highlights was the camouflage although the design of the new sport utility was still relevant. Taking this silhouette and the most relevant elements as a base, Autos Segredos made a recreation of how the new HR-V would look like.
In relation to the model itself, it will share the platform with the new generation of the Fit, will have more generous dimensions in relation to the SUV currently marketed, will have lines that will resemble the style of the sport utilities coupe.
In the front sector, it will adopt the brand's family feeling with more stylized LED headlights, a horizontal chrome strip and the drop in the grill sector will be straighter. On the other hand, in the rear area, the fall of the window will have a more pronounced fall and the optics will be renewed.
The measures would be the following: 4.40 meters long, 1.79 meters wide, 1.59 meters high and the wheelbase would remain the same at 2.61 meters. If this length is confirmed, this SUV would fall into the category of medium sized vehicles.
At least in our region, it would have to have a 1.5 turbo engine, in addition to another hybrid of the same capacity associated with two electric drives. In addition, in relation to the equipment, it is expected to have a great amount of technological elements. Its launch in South America will take place in 2022.
