The successor to the Renault Stepway and Sandero will look like this

The brand postponed the hatchback and its sedan sibling in search of an anti Pulse and so it would be The house of the rhombus promised that its low-cost models would have their own design even sharing base with those of Dacia. We know that the Sandero has already evolved to the new CMF-B platform, the same used for the Clio, however, in our region the brand decided to postpone it along with its sedan sibling, the Logan, and give priority to a crossover in the mold of the Pulse and Nivus. The recipe is not new, the Stepway (originally Sandero Stepway) already applied off-road imagery on the hatchback, but now the transformation is expected to be a bit deeper, as happened with the FIAT and VW models derived from Argo and Polo, respectively. What's new Stepway? These patent schematics have just been published by AutoWeek and show bigger changes than just an adventurous adaptation of the European Sandero. The main "crossover" cues are going to be noticeable in: Flatter hood (gives an idea of robustness). Split headlights, with high DLR and half-height main headlights (a classic of the current crossover). Darkened guards all around the lower perimeter and fenders Two-tone bodywork Roof rails In addition to the huge rhombus on the front (which in the images is kept in black) other Renault elements are the Art Deco design of the wheels and the C-shaped taillights that barely encroach on the tailgate. With production in Brazil, the model would bring platform improvements, going from the current B0 to the CMF-B, which should also be applied to the new Oroch produced in Argentina and the Duster and Bigster (7 seats), which were not officially confirmed by the brand. The engine should be the new 1.0L turbo of between 100 and 120 hp and the transmission would be automatic, some rumors say dual clutch, but logic indicates that it would be a CVT. Will we have the Taliant, sedan successor to the Logan but with a more stylized finish (coupe would say the MKT departments) I think so, but if they can apply a more adventurous style to fight against the FIAT Fastback.
