It is a sedan and a crossover for the B (small) segment. They will replace the Rio. Motor1 Argentina is at the regional presentation in Peru. From Paracas (Peru) - Kia made last night the regional presentation of the new K3. It is its brand new model for the B (small) segment, which will arrive in Argentina next year in two versions: K3 Sedan and K3 Cross (a hatchback with "adventurous" aesthetics). When they arrive in Argentina in the second half of next year, the new K3 will replace the current Kia Rio (read review). Like the Rio, the K3 is produced in Mexico. The Korean brand made the presentation last night in Peru for the different markets in the region. The configurations for each country have not yet been confirmed, although it is known that the K3 is already produced in Mexico with two mechanical options: 1.6 16v (121 hp and 155 Nm, with manual or automatic gearbox, always with six speeds) and 2.0 16v (150 hp and 191 Nm, only with six-speed automatic gearbox). In our country, the new K3 will compete against the most modern models of Segment B (small) in the market, among which we can mention the Nissan Versa, Toyota Yaris and Volkswagen Polo/Virtus. Motor1 Argentina traveled to Peru for this regional presentation. Coverage will continue in the coming days with interviews with local executives and a first test drive of the K3.
