According to Brazilian media, the small sport utility vehicle will be manufactured in South America. Thus, the chances of having it in Argentina are very high. Stellantis is working on Project 516 to make the Jeep Avenger Brazilian. It would be the first model of the brand to be manufactured in the Betim (MG) factory. According to Autos Segredos, this compact SUV will be developed together with the new generation of the Fiat Argo (it would become an SUV). Both will be built on the CMP platform of Peugeot origin. The Avenger combines Jeep's American origins with a squarer design, similar to the Renegade. Its front end features horizontal headlights and features the classic seven-slot grille. The bumper merges the body color at the top with a black section at the bottom, along with a wide air intake with a honeycomb grille. At the rear of this "mini Renegade", the lights are horizontal. The tailgate houses the nameplate. Inside, the Jeep Avenger features a digital instrument panel and a floating center display. Air vents occupy much of the center panel, while the steering wheel is multifunctional and has a unique design. The mechanicals will be internal combustion or hybrid (probably in the most exclusive variants). In the thermal versions, it will have the 1.0 Turbo T200 engine and will be connected to a CVT transmission. On the other hand, the ecological configuration will have a 100 or 150V engine with a power of 20 to 40 kW. Fuente: Parabrisas
