It is equipped with a 1.6-liter MPI 16v Gamma four-cylinder engine with dual camshafts and DCVTT valve control technology. It delivers 123 hp and achieves 15.4 kgm of torque, associated with a six-speed automatic transmission with sequential mode.

Its design highlights its long hood and the wide "tiger nose" grill. It incorporates an 8.0-inch touch screen system, which also offers Apple and Android compatibility. In addition, it has air outlets in the rear seats, electric windows, steering column with height and depth adjustment, leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel, cruise control and on-board computer with 3.5" LED screen, 6 speakers, among others.

In terms of safety, the Seltos body is made of high resistance materials, which maximizes torsional rigidity and keeps body weight low. With a high proportion of advanced high-strength steel components, the rigid body reduces road vibrations and improves occupant safety in the event of a collision.

In addition, it is equipped with six airbags, as well as a set of electronic vehicle safety systems. These include Kia's vehicle stability management system, which incorporates traction control and electronic stability control. It includes an anti-lock brake system, a brake assist system and hill start assist control. A rear-view camera is also available, which assists drivers when completing low-speed maneuvers.
